The Department of Neurology’s graduate training programs have continuously graduated neurology and subspecialty trainees since the 1940s.  Among the significant strengths of our program are the range and depth of the clinical experience provided at several teaching hospitals (Hennepin County Medical Center, Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Regions Hospital, and University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview); the devotion of the full-time faculty at each of these hospitals to teaching, patient care, and scholarship; and the focus on both clinical and basic research in the midst of a first-rank neuroscience community.
