Bio Statement

Dr. Baker is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Minnesota, and he currently serves as a member of the project staff for the Department of Neuroscience at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where he won two past Innovator Awards for his work. Dr. Baker is a member of the Society for Neuroscience and the North American Neuromodulation Society and a winner of the Bakken Heart-Brain Institute Research Project award.

Research Interests

Dr. Baker’s primary research focus is neurostimulation, which includes deep brain stimulation (DBS), Parkinson's Disease, stroke, and addiction.

Research Projects

Dr. Baker was most recently the Principal Investigator of a study entitled "Modulation of Interhemispheric Inhibition for the Treatment of Subcortical Stroke" and funded by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.
